Elias Furniture is a wood-design-studio in rural Northwestern New Jersey established by Matthew Elias. We focus on creating generational designs that are made to last with a timeless, modern style.
Matthew is a self taught woodworker who started Elias Furniture initially providing interior designers, contractors, and the general public with high quality custom furniture. In addition, our small batch collection that we offer continues to grow. We primarily use locally sourced hardwoods and tend to use traditional joinery methods that are both simple and strong.
As a small business in the greater NYC region we source our materials from local retailers and often use sustainable locally harvested woods. We offer regional delivery and ship nationally.

For Custom Coffee Tables5.0After spending a lot of time looking for the perfect coffee table, I decided I wasn't finding what I wanted and that I needed to consider a custom piece. I saw pictures of some of Matthew's pieces and the style was exactly what I was looking for. Working with Matthew was so easy and efficient. The communication was great and I never wondered or had to proactively contact him to find out the status. He personally delivered and assembled my table yesterday and I couldn't be happier! Matthew was truly a gentleman and a professional. Every step was smooth. A lot of communication, pictures and listening to the customer and making sure I was always satisfied. It was a tremendous value and I hope everyone will check the pictures to see how beautiful my table came out. For Live Edge Coffee Table5.0Working with Matthew Elias was perfect from beginning to end. He sent photos of different slabs of wood to get my input. Photos and descriptions were sent all along the way in detailed emails.
Matt always responded promptly to my emails.
He delivered and set up the table according to schedule. The table and matching bench are absolutely beautiful, I'm thrilled.

For Reclaimed Floating Shelves4.3Great to work with, super easy all around and forgiving of our many questions. My only wish is that the shelves came ready for installation with holes drilled in and brackets included. Overall though, we're loving the shelves!
