Knack Fab

We are a shop based on good values and honest products. We build custom furniture, art, and practical items out of metal, wood, and combinations of both. We are located in NC and have built a very strong name for the work we produce.

Knack Fab is located in the heart of Winston Salem, NC. Our company was birthed out of a foundation of over 15 years experience in the fabrication and custom furniture field. At a young age of 13, Matthew Jones found a passion in the art of modifying metal to acheive a certain outcome. He started an appreticeship under a gentleman named David Icenhour. David owned the only local shop that actually took pride in not only the materials used, but in the final outcome of the product made. Matthew worked off and on for David for over 15 years and was highly trained in the art of fabrication. Knack Fab was birthed out of that love of fabrication work and gave Matthew more freedom to pursue his passion. The shop grew, and now is the leading shop in the area for custom made furniture. We do not have an assembly line facility where we produce thousands of one item. Here at Knack Fab, everything is bench made by hand. We have nothing imported, we take pride in producing a 100 percent American made product. We do work with large showrooms all over the country and produce quantities of branded items for them, but we also work with the end user to build that one custom piece that cannot be found anywhere else.
