Shipping Policy
Most of my work finds a home in the Pacific Northwest but I'll gladly ship anywhere. <br> Getting a piece of furniture from Lummi Island to your home can be time consuming and expensive. For the most peace of mind, I will personally deliver if the destination is within a few hours drive. Alternatively, crating and shipping via freight or blanket wrap carriers are good options. <br> There is always a way!
Commission Policy
**Most importantly, you will be working directly with Tom in all aspects of a project.** <br> Whether a client lives down the road or across the country, Tom's commission process follows the successful methodology that he has developed over more than 30 years of working with individual clients and professional design firms. <br> **Tom offers an initial 30 minute of free consultation about your project.** If there is mutual interest in moving forward a design deposit fee will be requested before a serious deep dive into your project begins. <br> **Tom's approach to design, choice of joinery and materials will be driven by a rough budget that is establish early on.** This will help the overall cost stay comfortably within expectations. <br> As the design evolves, face to face meetings are ideal but email and online collaborative tools are a close second. <br> The final drawings allow a customer to know with confidence what they are getting and what it will cost well before the sawdust begins to fly. <br> **Typically a 50% deposit is requested before any fabrication begins.** <br> For more, please see the [**Commission**](https://thomaslutzfurniture.com/commission) page on my website.
