Great service
This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
Established in 1994, Thomas Lutz Furniture creates bespoke furniture pieces for residential and commercial spaces with a focus on purpose, materials, workmanship and longevity.
"I find inspiration in minimalist design where clean lines are enhanced by carefully selected wood grain. Where appropriate, I'll add visual and tactile accents in the form of functional joinery, hand hewn surfaces, textiles, sea-stones or even fire."
“Nearly all of my work over the last 30 years has been commissioned. I've learned that the mastery of client communication is as important as the mastery of my tools. My job is to hear and understand your aesthetic and practical needs, incorporate my own and ultimately express them through thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship.”
Let Tom guide you in creating a uniquely artful and enduring piece, suited perfectly to your space, with the marks of your own personality and design choices.

For Indoor kitchen picnic table Project
Tom's skills are amazing. I would definitely do another project with him. I LOVE my new table and cannot wait to show it off. Tom was patient, kind, very professional, and very, very good at what he does. His 3-D computer generated images of our project made it easy to discuss online and allowed for changes.

For Table
Tom was incredibly diligent in creating a design that fit our vision. He was able to share his progress via email, and was very responsive to us throughout the whole process. The table he created fits our space beautifully, and was exactly what we wanted. We had the opportunity to visit Heartwood Joinery to pick up our table and meet Tom, and we would wholeheartedly recommend his work. We hope to work with him again in the future!
