Step 1 - Communication & Deposit Each commission starts with plenty of communication. We discuss your idea, your hopes and expectations for your one of a kind work of art. When we feel we're on the same page, 50%\* of the decided price is required before beginning your painting. Step 2 - Practice Paintings Now the fun part really starts! We've established a theme, a color palette, a feeling you want conveyed in your art, which means your idea can now come to life! This is the drafting process and includes up to three small scale practice paintings (that you get to keep!!). This way, when I start on your full scale final piece, you'll know exactly what to expect! Step 3 - Completed Painting Once I've started on your final painting, you'll receive progress shots throughout the process so you're always in the loop! When the piece is complete you will receive a high resolution photo, whereupon you'll pay the remaining 50% balance and expect your completed painting at your doorstep in 5-7 business days! Due to the complexity of my process, custom work is non-refundable and once in-progress, custom projects cannot be cancelled. If you need an item by a specific date or for a specific event, please let me know in advance of accepting a proposal. Thank you!
