I am a fifth generation carpenter originally from Massachusetts who, after spending the last 28 years in Maryland, recently migrated to North Carolina. My wife, who is an award winning artist and I, settled with our dogs in the mountains of western North Carolina near Asheville.

 My work combines the classic elegance and style of  Mission and Southwestern furniture with the organic shapes of live edge.  I try to create pieces that exude warmth and classic beauty along with a rustic flair. I am inspired by the natural beauty of exotic woods from around the world and often incorporate unusual species not often seen.

I enjoy working closely with my clients to design and develop works that reflect their personal tastes. The result is a unique piece of functional art.

    Rich Grenier is a great craftsman and he delivered my table and chairs on time. The only negative was the shipping costs. The shipping costs totalled approximately 30% of what I paid for the table and chairs.

    Rich completed two projects in one room for us. One side has a sewing unit and the other has a Murphy bed with cabinets and bookshelves on each side. The Murphy bed unit is perfect for the room. When it is not in use as a bed, the cabinet is beautiful and looks like a wall unit with cabinet doors. I am still a bit in awe that you can have an idea, get drawings, and then the unit arrives and is installed, and it fits beautifully in the space.

    Some weeks ago, I talked online to Rich about building two projects in the same room. The sewing unit includes a counter, cabinets, and shelves. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he came up with a plan. We made a couple of changes and drawings were adjusted. It is remarkable that you can complete this process online. The entire unit turned out beautifully.
