Vollman Woodworking specializes in the creation of handcrafted decor items in the Arts and Crafts and Craftsman styles. Our handcrafted products are original designs intended to blend with your decor, whether your decor is new or true period pieces. Our standard designs include framed copper tiles, mirrors, wall shelves, coat racks, picture frames and other items all handcrafted in the Arts and Crafts style.
We take great pride in our quarter sawn oak finishes. A great finish begins with the selection of the wood for construction. We use only the finest quarter sawn white oak procured from master sawyers in matched lots of raw lumber, all from the same tree, to ensure uniformity of figure and coloration of our finished pieces. The finish on this frame has been hand applied and hand rubbed to produce a deep and rich, period appropriate finish, that is silky smooth to the touch. We provide an information sheet about our finishes and their care with each item.
In 2007, we began making heirloom quality keepsake boxes simply to showcase the beauty and variety of wood from around the world. The variety of color, texture, and figure of wood is a constant source of amazement. Some of the most stunning and beautiful woods are not suitable for furniture and cabinetry, yet they are truly nature’s art at its finest. The boxes are the medium for the true art; the wood itself. Our boxes are constructed of exotic and rare woods from across the globe including Africa, the Amazon, Europe, as well as, North American domestic species. Though our boxes are all of the same form, each one is unique.

Shipping Policy
We will ship items within the time frame listed on the purchased item page. Should a delay arise, we will contact you with the explanation and the revised shipping date. Items are shipped insured against loss and damage during shipment. Shipments with a cost exceeding $150.00 will be shipped with a signature required for delivery. We use UPS, FedEx and UPSP Priority Mail for our shipments. Our commercial shipping rates are passed through to the customer without markup. International buyers: We cannot be responsible for customs delays. The buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs. International shipments are sent via U.S. Postal Service Priority International mail.
Maker Policy
Custom work is non-refundable and may not be cancelled once the Proposal has been accepted. Customer satisfaction and the quality of our items are our highest priorities. We offer a money back guarantee if contacted within 7 days of delivery. We will not accept returns if the buyer does not contact us for return authorization. We will refund the purchase price and the original shipping charge for authorized returns. Items must be returned in the original shipping container, unless damaged, and include all materials. Buyer must pay return shipping charge.
