NEU

Hi, my name is Elijah and my company is NEU Design, a St. Paul based startup creating modern designs for social good. I graduated in December 2014 with a degree in industrial design, and have been in the manufacturing industry since high school, working full time as a grunt, then welder/fabricator, and during college as a mechanical engineer specializing in industrial machinery design.

I am constantly trying to find ways to do as much as possible with as little as possible. When it comes to designing furniture and home goods, this means creating thoughtful, efficient structures out of the best possible materials.

We are still a baby company, but my wife and I hope that as our company grows, we can use it to be good to people, because after all, what is design about if not people? Right now that means creating top quality products for you, and bringing whoever we can benefit into the process. We are also excited to be developing relationships with individuals and non-profit organizations whom we hope to use the proceeds of our designs to fund.
