512 Metalworks

I am so happy with this desk! It is everything I was hoping for it to be and then some. Cody was great throughout the entire project and kept me up to date with photos! I am beyond pleased with everything

I simply cannot say enough about Cody and the table he built for my family. Every aspect of this experience was fantastic. Cody's communication was excellent, he was able to take my random thoughts and create a cohesive idea and give it life, and finally the finished product is simply spectacular and exceeded our expectations. My biggest fear is that the pictures will not do the quality of the work the justice that the piece and Cody deserve. I cannot recommend Cody high enough and I am already thinking about the next piece we are going to need. I was absolutely skeptical about using this website and undergoing this process however I cannot imagine buying anything mass produced again. I have something that no one else has, is a true work of art, and is built to last. My sincerest thank you to Cody…..and Cody's wife who occasionally answered emails (and yes I know you are the brains behind the scenes) and Cody's crew for a flawless delivery.

Working with Cody was wonderful. He listened to our ideas and even came out to our house to look at the space we wanted to place the table before starting to make it. He sent us updated pictures along the way and let us choose the wood stain we liked best. I would without a doubt recommend him and use him again for other projects. He was extremely professional and is a genuinely nice person.

It's very typical for someone to give 5 stars on a review whether it be for a product or a service. It looks very bland in my opinion, but let me explain why I gave the very deserving 512metalworks 5 stars across the board. I'm going to break down the reviews based on the 6 categories that are represented.

First is Timeliness. I gave 5 stars based on the fact that this could have easily been a 2 to 3 week project, I wanted the product done in a week and Cody did just that.

Second is communication. There was at no point any confusion on what I wanted and expected. Cody knew exactly what to make from the finish on the metal to the finish on the wood.

Third is professionalism. Taking time out of his own busy schedule, Cody stopped by my house to inspect the existing coffee table to make sure the end tables would match it. (I'm actually in the works with cody to replace the coffee table with a creation by him.)

Fourth is expertise. His knowledge of welding and woodcraft (from what I can see) is bar none. He exceeded my expectations of what I was going to get.

Fifth is shipping/delivery. This one is hard to review only because I live close to 512metalworks. The delivery was at no charge which was great, but I can not speak for everyone on that. I'm assuming harges may vary based on distance and size of product.

Last but not least is value. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." I believe for the product I received, I should have paid a lot more. A WHOLE LOT MORE.

In closing I'd like to say I chose 512metalworks solely based on the fact that metalwork AND woodwork was Cody's specialty. It's hard to find someone who can do both well and he does them both VERY well. I look forward the the projects I have done from 512metalworks in the future!

This was my first time using CustomMade.com and Cody made it a wonderful experience. The Desk was executed exactly how I envisioned! Down to the exact finish in both the wood and metal that I wanted.
