After studying both Architecture and Interior Design, I discovered a passion for detail-oriented design and working with my hands. I founded Hog Island Woodcraft to create beautiful and functional pieces in modern styles using time-tested woodworking techniques.
I am proud to be producing my work in the City of Detroit, whose history is rich with innovations in design and manufacturing. Many Hog Island pieces are made with lumber reclaimed from deconstructed Detroit homes.
I am also committed to environmental sustainability. Using reclaimed or scrap materials reduces landfill waste and the demand for timber. More importantly, Hog Island products built to last. The most sustainable pieces you own are the ones you never need to replace.

Shipping Policy
Shipping available worldwide via USPS. Delivery available in Southeast Michigan. FREE DELIVERY within Metro Detroit.

Maker Policy
For custom work, a non-refundable deposit must be paid before work begins. This is typically 50%, but may be 66% for highly personalized projects. Remaining balance is due upon delivery or before an item is shipped. Refunds are only available in the case of incorrect or defective products.
