Working out of a little woodshop In Ada using a mix of antique hand tools and vintage power tools I specialize in hand carved wooden gear clocks and unique hand crafted furniture.
I work with many styles including hand cut dovetails and shaker style design for a durable rustic look. Each piece begins as a scetched out Idea and a pile of wood.
Most of my work is rustic. I work in knotty interesting wood including barnwood for the most character.
I prefer domestic hardwoods (local when possible) for strength and durabiliy.
Clocks, tables, chairs, beds, accent cabinets, knotty wood furniture, live edge slab surfaces, reclaimed wood , and total customablility.
All projects are built for durability and strength.
I strive for customer satifaction and do my best to accomidate requests and customer imput.

Brendon at Viking Clocks did not just make me a gorgeous piece of furniture... he made me an heirloom. I came to this project with an ambitious design and narrow budget. Brendon met both, and the final result is absolutely incredible. The bedframe is striking, a gorgeous combination of simple lines and natural wood, that fits perfectly with my mattress and remained true to the original design. Brendon was an excellent communicator; he provided me updates throughout the project, as well as pictures of the work in-progress. He hand-delivered and assembled the bed, and accommodated my last-minute request that it be broken down into the smallest pieces possible to get in my door and up the stairs. He was always clear about the time-frame of the project, and adjusted the delivery around my schedule. I can neither thank Brendon enough, nor recommend him enough. For Terri's Unfinished wood toy chest with hinge
Brenden was very friendly and professional with me and my husband's wish to make a toybox for our daughter for Christmas! He listened to everything we wanted, took down plenty of details and asked plenty of questions to make sure everything was as we wanted it. He did it in a very timely manner! (Didn't even take 2 weeks!) As well as worked with us for payment. It was super convenient that he was close to us so we could come pick it up without shipping it, and even in person he was super friendly and very professional. His prices were very reasonable and well worth the craftsmanship. We would definitely work with this maker again!

Happy with construction of bookcase, only issue was the stain was kinda globbed in some spots and had to be sanded. Measurements were exactly what we asked for and communication was very professional even if there were some bumps because of injury. Would definitely recommend him for your project!

Costs and time associated with shipping, delivery, and/ or set up will be figured based on project, location, schedule, and availability and may include gas or other charges. I am flexible in finding the best means of getting a project into your hands.

All products are hand made and as such are unique. Possible "imperfections" are part of what gives hand crafted wood its character. I am flexible to reasonable modifications and requests mid-construction although the may increase cost and construction time. Post completion repairs/modification will be done for minimal costs dependent on location, shipping, materials, and time. Deposits are non-refundable. Canceled projects will forfit initial deposit.
