One of the best things about working with Kate McGrath Designs is that it is only me. I do not have any employees, just me. You will have personal contact with the one and only person creating your garment. You and I become the team.
ABOUT ME:
I've been sewing for 20 years now. Specifically, handbags (fabric and leather), home decor, prom dresses, wedding dresses, evening dresses and costumes (cosplay, Halloween, dance, skating). I have experience sewing with many fabrics including satin, silk, lace, tulle, chiffon and organza as well as lace applique, hand embroidery and hand beading. I am confident that can recreate your desired garment. I am very detailed, and every seam, bead and placement of lace is important to me. I am quality driven and tend to be a perfectionist with my sewing.
ABOUT MY WORK:
I strive to make quality clothing where the details and fit matter. You will find French seams, bound seams and hand-finished touches among my work. I believe fit should reflect the best of my clients personality and body type while providing the most comfort fit.

I ordered a custom made Link outfit from the Legend of Zelda, and Kathleen worked very close with me to make sure that she got all of the details that I wanted correct. I had set a timeline for her and she finished ahead of schedule! When I received the product, I loved it, with the only problem being that some accoutrements didn't quite fit properly, which Kathleen unhesitatingly offered to remake. I would suggest Kathleen to anyone looking for a custom made costume.

Shipping Policy
I ship to United States only at this time. Made in the USA for the USA. In the future, I may add more countries as I really do love the whole world.

Refunds and returns are considered on an individual basis. Generally speaking, if it does not fit as agreed based on measurements and preferences submitted at the time of order, I will do what it takes to make you happy. In order to protect us both, please understand that I am not a mind-reader and if you did not specify something, I cannot give it to you. Having said that, my goal is to make you more than happy and will do what I can to make it so. Custom orders require 50% of payment up front when an order is finalized. Cancellations forfeit that payment as I will have already ordered the fabric and notions required for your garment. We will be sure you are ready to order before production begins so this does not become a problem.
