I have been creating wood works practically my whole life. I am 44 years old and I live in Central Georgia. I have built cabins, furniture, farm tables, tree houses, custom log homes including all finish carpentry, and birdhouses, hence the name "I'll Fly Away". I have enjoyed accepting sentimental woodworking items from people, such as headboards and footboards from beds that previous generations used, and turning them into works of art that can be re-purposed for the entire family to enjoy and use on a daily basis. Some examples are benches or hall trees. Wood has been salvaged from old family barns to create farm tables used in dining rooms of new homes. Some old wood panel doors from old family homesteads have been used to create new headboards made to look old. All of these items have meaning to these people and it is very rewarding to see the enjoyment they receive from being able to use these new family heirlooms in a new practical and beautiful way.

Shipping Policy

Custom-made furniture can be a unique shipping challenge. Personal delivery is possible. Details will be discussed project by project depending on the size of the item.

There will be no refunds due to the custom nature of the furniture made if the materials used have been supplied or provided by the client. If the materials used in the projects have not been provided by the client and have been supplied by the vendor, then there will be a 100% refund given minus any shipping costs to return the item to the vendor. Cancellation fees will be 30% of the original contracted price. There will be absolutely 100% satisfaction guaranteed on all craftsmanship. Disappointments or complaints with any craftsmanship will be given the person attention of the owner of "I'll Fly Away".
