Making furniture for other people is a pure pleasure. To work with someone while they discover what they want their piece to be and fulfilling that vision is a great feeling. Starting in 2013 I sought to create unique pieces for everyday use and custom pieces made to order. The first year found wonderful acceptance of the Hanging Display Cabinet and Outdoor Patio Cabinet and of course the Hat Racks, Display Shelf and Hanging Drawers that are a by-product of our work.
I am motivated with designs of the Arts and Crafts, Gustav Stickley, Greene & Greene among others. From large pieces that make a statement in a room to small knick-knack items it are just too much fun to make.
The big challenge in 2015 was moving from Texas to Montana and getting the shop set up and finding good BBQ. Well I have and I haven’t. My first piece here is a Greene & Greene inspired bed and night stand to be followed up by a pair of William Morris chairs and tables.
I hope you will enjoy the pieces you see here as I enjoy making them.

Shipping Policy
Shipping procedures vary according to your order. I try to make the process as simple as possible. I will find the best possible rates and quality companies to ship your piece to you. Each piece will be carefully wrapped and secured. Once ready for shipping I will be able to determine the cost. Shipping cost is determined by weight, dimension and location. This cost may also include handling and packaging fees. White Glove service can be provided which includes delivery, setup and removal of all packing materials. All shipping prices are F.O.B. Sweetwater Woodworks, Hamilton, Montana
Maker Policy
Sweetwater Woodworks is NOT responsible for freight damages. All items are carefully inspected and packed with care, I spend many hours creating your piece and want to make sure it arrives in the same condition as I created it. However, you should carefully examine each the piece when you receive it. Any damages must be clearly noted on the carrier's bill of lading before the driver leaves. Pictures are good! If the damage is severe and you feel that it cannot be easily fixed, please do not accept the delivery. Please contact me immediately so that I can help make sure that everything is taken care of promptly and thoroughly. If damages are not noted at the time of delivery than I have no recourse with the carriers and no claims will be honored. Knots, gouges, and cracks are inherent characteristics of many wood products and do not constitute damage/defects, no claims will be considered for these characteristics.
