Big Guy's Wood Furnishings & Decor

Big Guy's opened in January 2015 as a hobby shop. When we first opened our focus was on recycling and reusing wood that was a product of our other family business of clearing land and storm cleanup. We started building bird houses, bird feeders, cutting boards, frames, signs and rustic wedding decor. Over the last two years we have added farm tables, benches, swings, rocking chairs, coffee tables, side tables, headboards, vanities, kitchen countertops, etc. All with a goal to reuse and recycle some beautiful wood grown right here in Alabama. How many times can you go to a furniture store and know exactly where the trees came from that were used to create your piece of furniture? Well you can here at Big Guys'!

We are a small family owned and operated business. We proudly support our military members by offering a 10% discount every day and we support our local community by advertising here locally and assisting local citizens in need.

The "Big Guys" are our grandchildren and they are a part of our operation even now while they are young. If you happen to stop in sometime you'll likely see one of them hammering away or stacking some wood.

We have a seasoned and experienced carpenter that runs our shop and is very hands on with each and every project. He has been working with wood and construction for better than 30 years.
