Custom Dressers

Dressers here come in many forms: tall and narrow chests, highboys and lowboys, wide six- to eight-drawer dressers, men's dressers, cedar-lined chests, and pieces that combine a wardrobe with a dresser. Woods include walnut, cherry, maple (curly and other figured maple among them), quartersawn oak, red oak and pine.

What sets the price

A listing's price is usually a starting point. Half of the listings here are priced between about $1,800 and $5,900, with a median near $3,700, and one in ten is priced above $11,000. Size, the number of drawers, the wood, the drawer construction and the amount of hand detail set the price of a commission.
