All these carved vessels start out in the log form and are carved using a chainsaw and grinders to create all the unique designs. No two are alike due to the carving process and the wood. Some have embellishments added to them, such as stitching like the first picture. This piece had a natural crack that was left to open and shape and then gold lacing was stitched through pearl eyelets that were drilled into the piece. We also add stone inlays such as turquoise into natural cracks to add a pop of color, like the second picture . The third picture shows a large wavy Juniper bowl that has various stones, abalone and fossils inlaid. The fourth picture is a large canyon shaped vessel with natural openings left in tact during the carving process. The fifth picture is a large twister vase shaped vessel. Carved from a Juniper Burl, wavy twists were carved into the piece, sweeping up the piece. Then lastly is our signature carving, a mesquite sculpture that features three tunnels carved into it, allowing you to see through the middle of the piece.

We are a husband and wife team, residing in the beautiful mountains of Candy Kitchen NM where we create incredible chainsaw carved sculptures and vessels out of wood. Each is a one of a kind collectors addition. We like to work with woods such as "Forest Reclaimed" old growth Alligator Juniper that is local to our area. We also prefer woods such as mesquite and AZ Ironwood due to their beauty. All the sculptures we create are unique in design and not only show off Scott's' carving ability, but the beauty in the wood itself.
We take pride in all our creations and take those extra steps to assure that your heirloom piece will last for generations.
