Area served: Although I am located in the Southeast US, many of my clients are locate around the world and throughout the US and Canada. Shipping Methods: With exception of a few types of projects, most shipping costs are paid for by the client. In many cases, my clients will travel from other states to pick up their projects and at the same time turn their trip here into a vacation or holiday retreat in the Great Smokey and Appalachian Mountains.
Cancellations & Refunds A client may cancel his/her project at any time. If the project is canceled before materials for the project are purchased, and payments made will be refunded. Once the project materials are purchased, should the client wish to cancel the project, any payments that the client has made are forfeited and no refunds will be made. Once the project has actually started, and the client wishes to cancel the project, the client will forfeit all rights to the project and will have to pay for labor already expended on the project. Returns Although a client may return an item at anytime, there will be no refund. There is only one reason for a valid return: If the project item does not contain all the elements of the accepted proposal, the item may be returned for the missing element to be applied to the item. Example, if the proposal called for hinges and the item was sent without hinges, the client may return the item for the hinges to be added. If the item is broken while en-route to the client, the client has 2 days to formally report the damage to both Mountain Woodworker and to the shipper. Detailed photographs will be required. Mountain Woodworker will assess the damage and determine what action will be taken.
