Phil was great to work with long distance because of his communication. He asked for my preferences in the tint color and design. Would definitely go to Phil for future projects.

Top notch work! I needed a keep sake box for a doll from the 1890s that was my Great Grandmother's. Phil did an awesome researching what wood would work, finish, etc., explaining why it was necessary to use very low acid type of wood and finish. Exceedingly knowledgeable about his craft, a true artisan and professional. Highly recommended!!

Phil made a cradle for a ship's clock for us. He gave us various designs and woods to choose from. We shipped our clock to him so it would fit perfectly, and it does. Phil did an excellent job with my order for a personalized wedding gift. He was prompt and professional throughout the entire process, and he gave me options to help with cost when it came down to making a decision. I decided to go with a keepsake box and when it arrived I was surprised at just how much it smelled of beautiful cedar. Phil also let me provide my own art which he engraved onto the top of the box, and that came out perfectly as well. The shipping time to arrive at my location was VERY quick! He packed it so well, I thought I was getting a shipment of moon rocks. In my opinion, you can't go wrong working with Phil Rasmussen. You will end up with a one-of-a-kind piece of art that you, or your loved one, will always treasure!

Very happy with the overall project. All of the stages of the project met all expectations. Phil did a great job and met my delivery timelines. Phil had some power outage problems in his shop, interrupting a few days of output, but was able to get the final product out the door. Appreciate the work and professionalism. Phil made a stand for my grandfather's Seth Thomas Mark I Boat clock. He helped me pick a stand and made a beautiful piece. He was responded to all my communications in a timely manner. I thought the price was reasonable, and he shipped quickly. Highly recommended!

Phil did the most amazing job! From our beginning written discussions we narrowed down what I wanted. The craftmanship is exceptional. It was a joy to interact on this project which gave me such a fitting tribute to my husband's flag from Arlington National Cemetery. Thank you so much!

I can't begin to describe what a pleasure it was to work with Phil on my project. I commissioned a cutting board to be made as a wedding gift, and all throughout the process Phil lent his expertise, insights, and opinions on what would work well. He was also patient working around my busy schedule as we communicated and exchanged details. The end product was exquisite. Phil has been great to work with including answering all my questions and completing the project exactly the way I had envisioned.. This is my first time for such an undertaking and he walked me through all of the steps patiently. I highly recommend him!

We are absolutely delighted with Phil's project. We asked him to make 6 frames of redwood, with very specific dimensions. He chose the most exquisite wood, and worked with us closely to assure the dimensions were accurate.He is truly concerned to do the perfect project for his clients. He provided us with ideas we had not thought of and end even offered to frame the photos we had selected. His wired edge to edge hangars are elegant. Phil has done previous projects for us and we have been absolutely delighted. You are indeed fortunate if you have this gifted artist execute your project. The display stand is better than I imagined. Phil made additional al artistic recommendations that greatly enhanced the project. The Bolivian Tosewood is exceptional.

Phil was extremely responsive and quick with his service! Can't wait to use him again.
