Dental Instrument Cabinet

This is the second piece that Tim has worked on for me, and all of the expectations that I had from the first were met 100% here, too. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I am very happy with the finished product. I intend on engaging with Tim again soon for another piece for my kitchen.

Timeliness: Work was completed ahead of schedule, which was great! Communication: Tim asked a bunch of questions to ensure that the final piece was exactly what I wanted, and offered some ideas to make it better. Professionalism:Every email and our phone call was very professional. Expertise: The coat racks came out EXACTLY how I wanted, and they are very sturdy. Shipping: The coat racks came extremely well packaged in tons of bubble wrap. Value: The price for two custom pieces, plus shipping seemed very reasonable to me. They weren't cheap - but if I wanted cheap I would have gone to Target. Overall, I was extremely impressed with every part of working with Tim, and would highly recommend his work to anyone.

Tim was amazing and made my project easy for me to be involved and his craftsmanship is awesome. I had contacted other artisans but by the first few exchanges with Tim I felt like he was going to be the best choice. Not only was he very professional and timely with his responses but he has a depth of knowledge in what I needed so that he could ask excellent questions and guide me to help make decisions so that it would all work out the way we wanted. This project, a special set of knife handles to go on vintage knives, was not only something we wanted to do but had a special family significance too. Tim made everything easy for me and he made me feel at ease turning over this project to him. he is not only a talented craftsman but also was able to understand the significance of this project to me. The knife handles were beautiful and exactly what we wanted and Tim made this into a great experience. I would definitely like to collaborate with Tim again on future projects.

Excellence communicator. Was able to bring into reality my vague ideas and descriptions and transformed into an exact piece I wanted. Craftsmanship and materials are top notch. Shipment was well protected. I had an idea of what I wanted and after showing a picture of what it should generally looks like, Tim was able to hand drawn me a mock-up of what I was looking for. He communicated throughout the process to make sure we were in the same boat. The piece arrived with much anticipation and Tim delivered it. We were very pleasantly surprised with the finished product - a doll case to house a couple of very precious dolls made over 45 years ago by my mother. Customer service was excellent - Timothy Ziegler kept us posted every step of the way as the project progressed. The doll case unfortunately arrived with one completely "shattered" glass. Instead of risking sending it back, Tim provided the necessary information for us to replace the glass ourselves. He offered to pay for the replacement cost and the cost of our time, which we did not accept. We are completely and totally satisfied with the finished product, Timothy exceeded our expectations!!!

I wanted to get something special made for my dad for retiring from the Police Department, and Tim contacted me with interest in helping me create something for my dad. I drew a rough picture for Tim so he could get an idea of what I wanted, and I feel that the created exactly what I was looking for. Tim was very helpful and I had an open line of communication with him during the entire process. He even provided me with some images before the project was finished so I could see how everything was coming along. I was working with a smaller budget than Tim is probably used to, but he was very accommodating and understanding with the amount of money that I had to spend on this project. He made some suggestions and was honest with me about what he could do for me for the amount of money I was offering. I am so thankful that he was able to be flexible with me. Once Tim was finished with the project, he informed me that he had shipped it, and provided me with the tracking info so I could keep an eye on where the package was and when I could expect to receive it. It came in perfect condition and it was everything I was hoping for. I really appreciate all of the time and dedication that Tim put into this shadow box, and I know my dad will really appreciate his craftsmanship. Tim did a superb job of creating my project. If you are current or retired military (or even EMT/Firefighting/Law Enforcement), I highly recommend him for your woodworking needs (shadow boxes, coin displays, etc). Only thing I marked him down on was timeliness since I seem to have caught him during a backlog, but I trust he would have been much faster if I had not requested at that time. Very polite, professional, and friendly. If I sent him a message, I could pretty much guarantee a response within 1-2 hours (open communication is a must-need for online projects). His craftsmanship is great, and he works with you to come to a price that works for you. I will definitely be using Tim again for future projects.

This project was based on an example shown on the site, but customized to my specifications. The final result is very well made, with lovely finishing and attention to detail. Communication throughout the project was excellent, from initial planning for my needs all the way through to arrival at my home. And the piece was packed impeccably for shipping.

Honestly couldn't say enough wonderful things about Tim and his work. I had a project that needed a quick turnaround due to the Christmas holiday, and he was MORE than flexible with my budget and timing needs. We agreed to the project only a week or two before Christmas, and he was able to design, create and ship the project in time for the holiday, which is still amazing to me. Any delay or miscommunication related to project planning was completely on my end, as Tim ALWAYS got back to me right away with every question or request I had regarding the project. The finished project - which was a wooden sign that I gave to my brother as a gift for his new house/garage - came out absolutely superb, and my brother loved it. Tim responded to every e-mail I sent within minutes. Every detail I described in my proposal was addressed by Tim and together we created the display table for my husband's various collections. He can change the order of the drawers so that the collection he wants to view appears under the glass. The construction of the table is the best work I've ever seen. The quality of the wood used, the stain and lacquer, even the finish work on the insides and bottom of the table are finished to perfection! Tim promised the product to me by a specific date and beat that timeline by 10 days. I would highly recommend Tim Ziegler for your special project!

We have nothing but good things to write about Tim Ziegler at Ziegler Woodwork And Specialty. He was so easy to work with and very patient with us. The curio cabinet that he created for us is beyond what I could have imagined. It is so beautiful and flawless and his attention to detail is amazing. It's exactly what I wanted, only better! It is by far better than anything we could have purchased in a retail furniture store. Every time I walk by it, I can't help but smile and stop and stare. It is easily my most favorite piece of furniture in my home and it will be for the rest of our lives. I can't thank him enough for building this wonderful curio cabinet and highly recommend him to create any custom woodwork.

He produced a beautiful oak gun cabinet to my specs...it took longer than originally planned but the quality was there and the overall look was simple and elegant, which is preciesely what i requested. the only issue is the upper barrel racks are a touch too shallow to allow a rifle with scope to rest properly without the scope hitting back wall of cabinet, hence the 4 stars on quality. I'll have to find a way to deal with that...but the rifle spacing was just as i requested and perfect. the cabinet was expensive, but the overall value is quite acceptable given the custom work and attention to the look i asked for--a gun cabinet that looked like a narrow wardrobe rather than an obvious gun cabinet. In working on that design he hit a homerun for looks and subtlety...my wife is thrilled with it as it perfectly matches the stain samples I sent to have it look as if it had been built when our oak bookcases were first installed some years ago...no easy trick matching the color and style.

Tim is a master at woodworking. He really is attentive to details and his finishing details are top notch. I had quite a detailed project that required a high level of attention to detail and quality, all while trying to stick to a budget. I'm extremely satisfied with his work. I'm definitely going to be a repeat client. He was excellent at communicating back and forth and I enjoyed working with him.

I can not say enough good things about the process and working with Tim. The quality of the craftsmanship is what we were looking for and Tim delivered. As you can see the cherry table and chairs are beautiful. In fact we are considering our next project for Tim.

The piece ended up incredible; truly one of a kind! Tim was able to create exactly what I was picturing when I dreamed of this project and he even added (after proposing the ideas for approval first) a few extra pieces of flare that truly finished this piece off well. Tim was professional and provided nearly immediate feedback to questions and requests throughout the entire process.
