This table was made entirely--including the dowels that hold it together--from forklift pallet upcycled woods. This is not a novelty item, but rather a demonstration of the serious and limitless potential for salvaged, upcycled, recycled and re-purposed woods. It has two drawers--one on each side--that open from the center of the table. It's 45 inches long, 24 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches high. The materials are all hardwoods, but they are not recognized as to type (at least not by me) as the pallets in question probably originated in Asia.

Member of the Furniture Society . One-of-a-kind pieces, ranging from dining room and occasional tables to shelves, cabinets and small boxes. The work generally combines several woods as highlights. It is all finished neutrally I incorporate neither stain nor paint in my pieces. Most pieces are all hardwoods, sustainably sourced through various Oregon suppliers.

For Kitchen tablesAllan Parachini built me 2 custom alder kitchen tables of the exact right size & shape that I ordered (I could not find this in any stores). He finished the job ahead of schedule and charged a very reasonable & fair price. The work done was of high quality and the tables are stable and look beautiful. He was extremely pleasant & easy to work with. He communicated with me frequently concerning both the design and the construction of the tables. He fully lived up to his commitment and delivered the tables to me personally. I give him a 5-star rating, my highest ranking. The tables look great in my newly remodeled kitchen. Thanks, Allan!
