Welcome to Kerry’s Custom Leather! My name is Kerry Phipps and I am the lead artist for Kerry’s Custom Leather. I am from a family of custom leather crafters who have been producing the finest quality, custom designed, hand tooled, and completely handmade custom leather products since the early 1950′s. Everything we create is custom designed to your exact specifications. Once we understand your order, we hand cut the leather from the hide, hand tool, hand dye, and hand sew your order, there is never a machine involved in the creation of your hand tooled leather items. Every item is handmade in the Midwest USA by our master artisans. We strive to create the perfect gift or product for you, got a significant other who is hard to buy for, how about a custom daytimer which screams it’s mine. Since each of our products is hand tooled, hand carved, and hand sewn for each client, we have included samples of our work in these pages to show the quality, but if you dont see what you want don’t hesitate top call or write an email, I am sure we can help. Mar 4, 2014Wow ! What a beautiful finished product. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Kerry, the artwork you did, especially on the palm tree, looks fantastic. There is nothing not to like. The quality of the work, the heftiness of the leather, the stitching and color, are all absolutely perfect. This is so well made it looks like it could be passed down over time for several generations. Thanks for keeping me updated of the process as it was being made. Another nice touch was the heavy, glossy, almost cardboard paper instructions you had printed out along with the item, that gives info on it's care and handling. 100 percent satisfied. Sep 29, 2013This was my first custommade experience. Kerry was absolutely fantastic! We ran into some technical problems, but it had nothing to do with Kerry. She made said problems (infuriating though they were) worth coming back to custom made. I will not be looking further for any future leather work. I highly recommend her.
