Our Hand Tooled Leather Journals are made with high quality leather. We hand bound all the pages together so that when opening it up and writing the pages lie flat at all times. We use acid free archival quality Arches (cotton lintner) paper. Each journal contains two hundred pages. You can chose from a permanently bound journal or a refillable journal. Leather color: Our leather supplier supplies us with superior quality domestic 4-5 ounce (cow) leather hides that accept color exceptionally well (so that we can stain or dye the hide by request). This allows us to offer a wide range of colors, or custom colors (by request). The leather colors listed in our options are our "standard" colors. However, if you would like a color not listed below, simply contact us, as we can dye a leather hide to match most color requests.

Welcome to Kerry’s Custom Leather! My name is Kerry Phipps and I am the lead artist for Kerry’s Custom Leather. I am from a family of custom leather crafters who have been producing the finest quality, custom designed, hand tooled, and completely handmade custom leather products since the early 1950′s. Everything we create is custom designed to your exact specifications. Once we understand your order, we hand cut the leather from the hide, hand tool, hand dye, and hand sew your order, there is never a machine involved in the creation of your hand tooled leather items. Every item is handmade in the Midwest USA by our master artisans. We strive to create the perfect gift or product for you, got a significant other who is hard to buy for, how about a custom daytimer which screams it’s mine. Since each of our products is hand tooled, hand carved, and hand sewn for each client, we have included samples of our work in these pages to show the quality, but if you dont see what you want don’t hesitate top call or write an email, I am sure we can help. Since all of our work is custom just for you, and of the finest handmade quality, our work is not inexpensive, instead, it is designed to last 5-10 times longer than the less expensive substitutes. May 13, 2015After searching ALL over the web for a quality leather album I could afford, I finally discovered Kerry's Custom Leather. This album was a gift for my father, a perfectionist who works with fine woods. In addition, my siblings placed me in charge of the gift, so if Dad wasn't happy, I let the whole team down... Didn't happen! Kerry was in contact with me from the very beginning of the project, making sure I was aware of options, then throughout the project with updates & pictures of work completed. I felt as though I watched it being made start to finish. This is SO much better than the machine cranked, expensive but ordinary piece! My Dad LOVED the finished album. My thanks to Kerry! I recommend her to anyone considering a custom leather product!
