the best part of the bowling alley is where the pins go, and this is it! this coffee/side table was made from reclaimed maple bowling alley lane. it's a little rough around the edges but smooth to the touch and ready to go. i fabricated the base from a steel alloy and brushed it. it looks like stainless, but it's not! this bad boy stands 20" tall and the top is 20" X28." and he has a partner! check out my listing for the 46" long, low version. if you're interested in the set, contact me and i'll "bundle" them. local pickups and delivery is and preferred! contact me to work out arrangements prior to purchase so i can edit shipping expenses. if you live to far away and want to pay for shipping, it will be via greyhound express. that means you'll need to pick it up at your nearest greyhound bus station. it's the most economical way. i'll need your phone # so they can call you. thanks for looking, tim

This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
I am an independent artist/artisan working exclusively in reclaimed, recycled, upcycled and found materials.
i make the useless useful again. i make worthless things priceless.
from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.
my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.
i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).
listed on this page are some pieces i've made for others and some pieces i have available for sale. but what i really want to do is design and make what YOU want. let's do it!
be good,
tim

For 2 Custom Beer Tap HandlesTim did a great job on my project, 2 custom beer tap handles. He even made and shipped an additional handle when one of the handles ended up being too heavy to use. I would gladly use Tim to make another custom project.

For Reclaimed wood counter height table Length 76 inches, Width 38 inches and Height 36 inchesWe love our Tim Sway table. It's the Reclaimed Barn Beam Dining Table and Tim did an amazing job of creating a table that's beautiful, functional and made our vision come to life. We knew that we wanted a tall island/dining table for our newly renovated New England kitchen. And we wanted reclaimed wood with some history. Tim was very helpful with ideas and direction, both with functional concerns (build/usage) and also creative options (wood/metal). He found some nice local heavy barn wood. The final piece was created with frequent consultation and he was always quick to return emails and send photos during the process. We even visited during its build. Honestly, it's better than we ever imagined. It's a delight to eat at this table, use it for food prep, and just hang around. And it's so strong you could park a truck on it! The table is the centerpiece of our kitchen upgrade. It was a pleasure working with Tim. He's talented, attentive … and is a really nice guy.

For Bar CartWe asked Tim to design a bar cart for us and he did a fantastic job. We gave him a budget and he came up with a great design for our cart. This included a sweet set of wheels made from old water valves. Tim was very responsive and helpful throughout the process, and if we need something else made we will be going back to Tim.
