well, i had an old ladder that no one in their right minds would use as a ladder, so i had to find something to do with it… there are lots of upcycling ladder tricks out there; i wanted to find something no one else has done with a wood ladder, so i folded it into itself and made it a coffee table. i topped it with a ridiculously awesome piece of 1/2" tempered glass. 'nuff said. the table is about 18" high and the glass is 24"X36" wide. shipping will be via greyhound express. that means you'll need to pick it up at your nearest greyhound bus station. i'll need your phone # so they can call you. local pickups and delivery is always an option (and preferred!) contact me to work out arrangements prior to purchase so i can edit shipping expenses. i would also consider selling it without the glass if it needs to ship far. you could buy glass locally. contact me if that interests you. thanks for looking, tim
A Maker who has been a valued part of this community for several years.
Customers say that this Maker ships promptly after completing a project.
This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
I am an independent artist/artisan working exclusively in reclaimed, recycled, upcycled and found materials.
i make the useless useful again. i make worthless things priceless.
from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.
my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.
i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).
listed on this page are some pieces i've made for others and some pieces i have available for sale. but what i really want to do is design and make what YOU want. let's do it!
be good,
tim

For 2 Custom Beer Tap HandlesTim did a great job on my project, 2 custom beer tap handles. He even made and shipped an additional handle when one of the handles ended up being too heavy to use. I would gladly use Tim to make another custom project.

For Custom frame for military trunkTim is super fun and easy to work with. He had lots of creative suggestions for our project (turning my grandfather's WWII trunk into a coffee table), and the finished product was completely perfect, even better than we hoped for!
