This frame was machined from a solid piece of 3/4 Lucite. It has a 1/2 inch recess that accommodates the painting and 2 small Lucite clips on top to keep it from slipping off.

    I am very disappointed and in fact, am concerned that the board will come apart after some use. Its not one solid piece of wood and obviously has been glued. Very expensive for the quality.
