Pictured with 120 year old solid reclaimed maple seats at chair height (18 inches) high, with a 14 inch diameter seat and a 16 inch wide base, these are made at the time of ordering and so can be customized to your specific needs. They come with a metal disc at the foot of each leg so you can use felt feet to avoid scratching your floors! Base can be raw steel as pictured, or painted to your custom request. Many stains and finishes are available as well, just tell us what you need! Mike makes himself incredibly accessible to talk about your ideas, offers his suggestion and expertise, and is truly a delight to work with. Communicating with him was the easiest, and made it one of the most pleasant experiences.
Mike came up with two assistants to install the coffee bar. (We live in NJ) They came in and got it done in one day.There are a few issues with the wood, but nothing incredibly major that wood glue and clamps for 24-hr couldn't fix.
We were looking to use reclaimed wood, so working with StrongOaks was perfect.
Mike also left us with the story of the two barns that the wood and tin came from, to make the bar.
