Classic Antique Wood Benches made from reclaimed hundred year old oak in a rustic spindle back style, finished with your choice of stain. Handcrafted from solid wood, these handmade benches look perfect at the end of a bed, in an entryway, hallway, dining room, or anywhere else you need a little country style. With a contoured seat and reclined back, they are both sturdy and comfortable. The spindles for these benches are also real antiques, found in the attic of the new workshop, which was a manufurer manufacturer back in the 1870's. Featured here at approximately 32" tall with the seat about 18" off the floor, with a dark brown stain. However, custom dimensions, stains, finishes and woods are always available. We have reclaimed oak, wormy chestnut, walnut, white pine and tulip tree. These are custom made at the time of ordering. For Modern Style Bar Stools With Back Rest Made From Reclaimed Wood And Metal3.8We ordered metal/wood bar stools with padded leather seats. The quality and workmanship of the metal and wood fabrication was very good. The stools did arrive with damaged feet, but the folks at Strong Oaks were quick to provide replacements - very responsive. The workmanship on the padded leather seats was just OK - clearly not their expertise. Overall all happy with the purchase.

For Reclaimed Antique Oak Farmhouse Dining Chairs5.0These chairs are sturdy and well made. A great value for solid wood dining chairs. They were exactly as described. They arrived on time and we were notified of their arrival days beforehand.
They gave us a story on where the wood from the chairs came from, which was very nice.
I would like some instructions for long term care of the chairs. That would be helpful. Other than that I have no suggestions.

These chairs are very sturdy and each one is unique. Great attention to detail. Communication was very good throughout the project and chairs came well packaged and undamaged. Overall expectations were exceeded. You could not find a set of mass produced chairs that come close to these in quality and uniqueness. Highly recommend!
