This country style kitchen island features a thick top made from the warm tones of vintage antique pine matched with a traditional harvest base and tavern style turned legs. It will surely help make a cozy and comfortable addition to any kitchen setting! Shown here with a reclaimed heart pine top and painted base. The top is finished with a long-wearing traditional oil urethane for easy clean-up, but could also be finished with butcher block oil for food prep use.     We ordered metal/wood bar stools with padded leather seats. The quality and workmanship of the metal and wood fabrication was very good. The stools did arrive with damaged feet, but the folks at Strong Oaks were quick to provide replacements - very responsive. The workmanship on the padded leather seats was just OK - clearly not their expertise. Overall all happy with the purchase.
