Elegance and simplicity merge in this Shaker influenced one-drawer table handcrafted with a stunning walnut top. The table is constructed of poplar hardwood and expertly finished with a traditional black milk paint finish. The face of the hand dovetailed drawer is walnut and the simple Shaker styled pull is walnut with an ebonized finish, bringing together the walnut and the black milk paint. The walnut surfaces were finished with numerous layers of shellac, hand rubbed to a soft gloss that will fit in any setting. All surfaces of the table had paste wax rubbed in to complete the finish and provide additional protection as well as a soft glow and warm touch. The drawer is perfectly fitted and opens and closes with the gentle touch of one finger - a delight each time you use it. This practical table in a timeless design is equally at home in a room filled with 18th century furnishings or a contemporary loft. Meant to be used, the radiant walnut top makes this a work of art to be admired as well. The table pictured is available for immediate delivery for $850 The table is also available in cherry, maple, mahogany, and additional woods, and can be completed with a matching wood frame in lieu of the milk paint finish, which is also available in a variety of colors.

For Mike's Media CabinetMy media cabinet came out exactly as I hoped it would. Throughout the process, Roger provided clear updates and presented me with easy to understand options. I look forward to working with Roger again.

For wall-mounted shelfRoger's work is excellent. I am extremely pleased with the way he took my vague idea and transformed it into a build-able design. The joinery is first-class. I recommend Strathamwood without reservation.
