This projects was for a large entry way window that I divided into 7 smaller panels that were installed into a frame. This made the installation more manageable and the shipping more affordable for the client. The combination of bevels, clear textured glass and two shades of blue create a classic look that allows light into the space while affording privacy. 36" w x 72" h

I create custom stained glass windows and fused glass art work with unique designs and handcrafted excellence. My passion for glass germinated in the cathedrals of France, developed roots in Hawai`i and is now branching out in Oregon. Commissioning artwork is very rewarding.       I have never worked with an artist without physically meeting and seeing the artist's work, but my experience with Michelle Caron was as close to being there as possible. I was able to describe my ideas for the stain glass skylight, and received an abundance of her visions and colors throughout the sketching of the project before it was clear that we both were happy with her plans. I was even more delighted to receive such a beautifully detailed piece of art that expresses Michelle's talent and CARE for the happiness of the client. We are fortunate to showcase such a piece of art in our, now enhanced, home.

      What a wonderful artist Michelle is! After meeting with us initially to better understand what we had in mind for the transom window, she prepared several artist drawings with suggested themes. Every one was a possibility that we could have been pleased with. With her talent it made it difficult to decide. We settled on one, then changed to another, and finally after incorporating elements from more than one, and with further changes and additions we finally settled on what has become a work of art in the 6' wide arched transom window above our 8' front doors. It incorporates elements of the family's heritage with a truly wonderful rondel at it's center.
