Retirement Shadow Box
This shadow box was made custom to fit the retiring Assistant Chief's first fire ax and a special spot for the badge he wore and was allowed to keep. The box was made so the ax would not fall out but could be retrieved easily for home defense (I guess you gotta know this guy, lol) This box was made from two types of wood to give it dimension The reddish stripped wood is sugar pine and the lighter frame was Juniper. Being a Volunteer fire fighter this project took a special place in my heart and can't wait to make one for myself. (but I'm not retiring anytime soon) Of course your shadow box can be custom made to fit whatever keep sake or memory you want to preserve and show off. Prices starting at $150. Building Art One Board At A Time…
In a converted old barn, I built the custom woodworking shop I always wanted. I've been building smaller projects to keep busy inbetween the larger projects, along with working in a custom cabinet shop part time.
On a more personal note:
I'm married to my forever friend, we have 7 kids, 3 boys, 4 girls with the youngest being twins. It is a great blessing to have my shop right next to my house so I can help out with all the kids, but Mom keeps things in pretty good order.

For I would like a cutting board that measures 36" x 36" and is made from the same material as the pizza peels. What would the thickness of the cutting board be?5.0Jeff is easy to work with and understands how to balance quality and value. I had 4 pizza peels made as well as a 36" x 36" cutting board. They are excellent quality and design. I highly recommend him.

For Shelf5.0I have been looking for someone to build a shelf that looked exactly like my mom's neighbor's shelf - a shelf that my mom has been eyeing for years! Due to my initial reservations about ordering something like this online, I considered custom made as being a last resort until I met Jeff. Jeff was immediately very open with discussing the details of how the 'online' process worked as well as all the details of the shelf's dimensions before any proposal was ever accepted. He was also very open about price upfront and making sure we were both on the same page at all times - both before and during the build process.
I received the shelf much faster than expected and its gorgeous! I can't wait to surprise my mom with it as I'm sure we will both be teary eyed.

For Award Plaques (walnut)5.0Hello,
I hired Mr. Knopf last year to make the awards and he did such a great job, I contacted him again to do this years awards. Seems like I called him 3 times adding more plaques. I told him I would get him the name plates a week before the banquett, I got them to him about 4 hours before. He hand delivered them about an hour before the banquett started.
The 6 who recieved awards would, I'm sure give thumbs up as well.
