Maple Bookshelf
This sleek, modern styled, shelf stands 65" tall, 40" long , and 16 inches deep. It weights about 90 lbs fully assembled. The sturdy shelf is hand crafted using hand selected solid maple from a local lumber mill. Only the finest pieces are selected. The bookshelf would make a great addition to your mudroom, laundry room, entryway, porch, study, or family room. It would work anywhere you can imagine! . The steel legs are welded, then powder coated, to a rich gray that complements the maple in stunning fashion. The finish on the wood is a hand rubbed satin. It really brings out the natural beauty, and character, in the maple. The shelf comes fully assembled. I am also happy to do custom orders for different types of wood, finish, or steel colors. If you prefer, I can also do two wood legs, or two steel legs, instead of one of each. I even do custom sizes. Inquire for a custom quote. Because each bench is carefully hand crafted at the time of purchase, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery! Every piece is hand made in the USA.

The process of making each piece is as or more important to myself as the final piece. I try to keep my customers informed of the processes I am using while making their specific works of art or furniture. While I am working with a piece of furniture or piece of art the materials I use come from specific choices of color combinations, textures, contrast and overall appearance. Often while I work the ideas I have change while working with different materials because the material might respond differently then expected. This changes the project I am working and future projects. I have been trained as an architect so I love to design and building with my own hands. I am passionate about great design.
