We could NOT be happier than we are with the beautiful, walnut beam fireplace mantel we purchased Custom Corners (Heather and Don). We needed some odd dimensions on the beam (our contractors had left some room to recess the beam) but Heather and Don came through and provided exactly what we needed. I couldn't quite make up my mind on the stain and Heather helped me pick a color that's perfect; I'm afraid without her guidance I would have gone darker than I did and I'm glad I didn't. It's just the right color for our fireplace surround. I didn't speak to Don but it was a pleasure working with Heather. I'm not sure what average turn around time is but with shipping, I think we had our beam within a few weeks. Heather knew we were in a hurry and I think they went above and beyond to get our mantel done quickly for us. I spoke with a couple different suppliers and I'm really pleased with the price we paid…it was very reasonable. Finally, our contractor and several of his crew commented that I had "done well" ordering that beam myself. They were impressed as well and I'm certain I saved money handling that separately as opposed to having it custom made in the area where I live. I highly recommend Custom Corners!! Sue F.

I worked primarily with Heather on creating four custom floating shelves for a kitchen redesign in my home. Most floating shelves, especially larger ones, are 3" thick which wasn't going to work for my small kitchen. I needed narrower shelves (1 3/4") and one large uniform/ single-piece shelf over 100" in length. Heather was super responsive to my initial proposal request and was extremely helpful in walking through the needs and requirements of my project. We reviewed finishes and she had samples delivered to me within a couple of days. While I was not in a super big rush to get the finished product, I did need them delivered within 8 weeks. Heather not only completed the shelves in under two weeks, she personally delivered them to my home with her husband, Don (making a very long road trip from Missouri to Pittsburgh). This personal and unexpected touch probably saved me a few hundred dollars in shipping alone. The finished shelves and custom made brackets turned out beautifully. Working with Heather and Don exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I can't wait until they're installed (by September, hopefully) and will post photos of the shelves once the kitchen is complete. Overall, I'd highly recommend Heather and Don and would definitely seek them out for other custom projects!

Xlnt experience working with them. They delivered exactly what we ordered and what was promised with one exception, only the ends and front were solid walnut, the top and underside were both plywood with a thin walnut veneer. It looks great so I won’t try to return it but the description was solid walnut( and why I assumed it cost what it did).

Beautiful mantel! The entire project went great from start to finish. Arrived packed very well with no damage. Could not be happier. Quality craftsmanship!

Heather was so great to work with! She was very proactive and responsive, and helped me to figure out what we needed and wanted in a mantel. We received it two weeks earlier than estimated, and it looked exactly like what we talked about. No surprises, in a good way! We very happy the mantel and would work with Custom Corners again!
