I love designing and building fun projects!
I specialize in creating tables and other furniture out of 60-100 year old retired grape vines from California's premiere wine growing region.
What I have online is not even 1/4 of what I design and build so if you have an idea for something new and exciting, challenge me to design and build it for you!

Apr 29, 2015The wine rack came much sooner than I had anticipated- it as a nice surprise (not to say I would be upset had it arrived on the anticipate "due date"). I love the "imperfections" and the lack of symmetry. It gives it that beautifully put together look that "homemade" has to offer. I don't know who made it, but I can see their skill and personality. Blends perfectly- NOT obnoxious, NOT too big, and definitely not something I will get tired of looking at. EVER. (I really cannot rate the expertise and value of this product since I don't know what it took on the other end in terms of time and skill. Bottom line, I am happy with the product for the amount I paid).

Apr 29, 2016Working with Michael was very easy. Some mods were required for our application of this lamp, which Michael was able to accommodate very easily. There was a small delay in getting shipped across the border, but once that was worked out, (without using a broker or added cost), the courier delivered our item in a few days. We're very happy, we have 4 unique lamps from California wine country in Ontario wine country!

May 21, 2023We enjoyed our custom made grapevine coffee table until we discovered it was infested with wood-eating beetles. An exterminator confirmed these beetles reside in the wood. The table was not salvageable and the bugs destroyed the rug beneath the table. The maker refused to respond to my request for remediation. Before considering spending thousand of dollars on any product from this maker, I strongly urge you to take heed of the following response from Custom Made Support: "The listing clearly stated that the product is made from recycled materials. As such the maker had no way of knowing that the materials used to create your table were infested with bugs."
