Dresser / Chest Of Drawers

$2,700

I named this piece "Floating Drawers" Dims are; 45" wide -19 1/2" deep - 41 1/4 high The base and the outer frame are made out solid walnut and the drawer faces are made of solid Maple. I can honestly say, this is the only piece that I can remember waking up in the middle of the night with the idea of how to make it. I love designing furniture but I usually don't wake up in the middle of the night with an idea on my mind. The idea as you can see, was how to make it look like the drawers are floating; hence the name, "Floating Drawers." You should check it out in person, it's super cool. I could of course make you a custom one, just give me the dimensions and I'll make it happen. As for shipping - I have a truck and could deliver this heavy dresser as long as you live some where near the West Coast. Feel free to contact me to ask me any Questions you might have.

A little about me.
I used my Montgomery G.I Bill money I got from serving to go to woodworking school. I spent 3 and a half years in the school and then I worked for a few different wood shops till I landed where I am now.
I am very happy where I am now and super proud of the work we do there.
When I'm not designing for clients I'm building my own designs.

My ethos is the same as all great designers. That is, “Form Must Always Follow Function”.
I, like most people, have a favorite things to look at. For me it’s trees, I love almost all of them. When I'm standing under a huge one I get such a feeling of peace and comfort.
I’m sure we all know by now that trees look the way they do because that’s exactly how they need to be designed in order for them to thrive.
The tree to me is the epitome of Form Following Function.

The tree is my standard, it is the bar that I’m trying to reach.
A tree is mighty and durable. I want my furniture to be strong and well built.
A tree is beautiful and timeless. I want my furniture to be super cool and never trendy.

Thanks again for taking the time.
