Wooden Bible Box In Spalted And Wormy Maple
Spalted and Wormy Silver Maple go really well together, as you can see from this box. This big wooden bible box is both beautiful and spacious enough to keep books, magazines, or other reading materials. I used a big piano hinge to attach the two hollow wood pieces together. The front and back panels are made of solid red oak. This lovely piece measures 12" in length, 12" in width, and 2.75 inches in depth, and can also double as a coffee table or nightstand.
