Repurposed White Oak Box With Rounded Corners
How can anyone not be drawn to this darling box? White oak was a perfect choice for this piece because of its light hue and pronounced grain. Using two pieces of solid wood, I built this box with rounded corners to make it sleek. The lid is attached with two small metal piano hinges and the interior is lined with wine-colored suede leather. This box is solid and dense but is actually very lightweight. It has a length of 5", width of 3 ½", and height of 3 ½".
