Repurposed Nested Wooden Boxes
These nested boxes are reminiscent of well-known Russian matryoshka dolls – when you open the outer box, you will find a smaller one inside! I used durable repurposed wood, which I formed into unique shapes. The components are glued by hand and rubbed with tung oil afterwards. To add shine to the boxes, I applied a coat of natural wood varnish. The outer box measures 4 ¼" in height, 4 ½" in length, and 2" in width. The smaller box measures 3 1/8" in length, 3 ½" in height, and 1 ¼" in weight.
