Ailish Table (Mini)
This piece serves not only as a table but works well as a bench and a step. Made from baltic birch plywood and comprises of 12 individual layers joined together in a staggered manner. The overall impression is the the table has been machined from a solid piece of plywood. The nature of the plywood adds interest to the design with its stripes of light and dark wood. The staggered element adds texture but also plays with light to create great shadows. Can be finished in Danish oil, spray lacquer or a wax sheen.

Gary is a British designer who recently relocated from Wales to the plains of Minnesota. He studied with several furniture makers before going it alone and has won design awards in the UK and the US. His work has a multitude of influences.
