Sculptor with 20 years of professional experience. I earned my BA degree in Art from San Diego State University. My specialized studies in sculpture were done in Pietrasanta, Italy where I lived and worked for the past 15 years, There I specialized in realistic and classical sculpture. I can, however, work in any style requested.
My services include: Wood Carving, Marble and Stone Carving. Bronze Sculpture, Religious Sculpture, Portraits. I work with wood, marble and other stones, lost wax and bronze casting, clay or ceramics, plaster, resins and cement. I am also experienced in Ornamental carving of doors, tables or objects. Castings in cement or resins including Fountain spitters, Garden Art. Also work with plaster casting or decorative ornaments.

For Alynda's Sculpture5.0Roxana is a brilliant classic sculptor, so I'm sure she must have been taken aback by my project idea: a totem pole in the Pacific Northwest First Nations style, but with animals that aren't typically found in such art. If she was surprised, though, she didn't say so. In fact, she approached my project with enthusiasm, meeting my price and strict deadline. We communicated frequently, sharing photos to help guide the project along. When there was a brief hiccup, she worked to rectify the problem immediately. My husband loves his totem pole. It's the most amazing thing I've ever given him, and I can't thank Roxana enough.

Every step of the process, from initial communication to delivery, was easy, professional, and positive. The project benefited from Roxana's experienced suggestions early on, and her artistic abilities took it from there. I can't imagine an easier, more confidence-instilling route to a successful, timely, and beautiful end result. This project was a gift, and both the giver and the recipient appreciate Roxana's work immensely. Not only would I certainly work with her again, I don't expect to look elsewhere if new ideas/needs for commissioned sculpture arise in the future.

I had a highly unique and sensitive project for Roxana. It was challenging and a bit out of her (or anyone's, for that matter) comfort zone.
She handled it with a great deal of intellectual curiosity as well as discretion, and nailed the project despite its complexities.
More than all of this, I could feel her emotional investment in the project. Our interaction in person was limited but I immediately felt she was warm and trustworthy. Through the course of the project - about two months - this was proven true without doubt.
If I ever have a custom scultpture to commission again, I'd call Roxana with the first call without question!
