American Elm Slab
Future Project This plank is salvaged lumber . We call it urban lumber because is has been growing in someone's yard. I just received this beautiful American Elm slab. It measures 1 3/4" thick by 94" long. The wide end is 40" wide and the narrow end is 28" wide. Elm is a hard durable wood and would make a beautiful table. The inclusion go all the way through this plank. All of the bark has been removed from the live edge. If we act quickly, I may be able to get a few more planks from the same log. This log also gave us some square stock that would make beautiful matching legs or a frame for a trestle,farm house or small conference table. Let's build a "one of kind" piece for you.
