Craftsman Chest Of Drawers
This is a craftsman style chest of drawers built for a client to match their existing pieces in their home. The woods used are quartersawn white oak , poplar, and aromatic cedar. An interesting design feature of this piece is the use of cedar drawer bottoms. This gives a pleasing aroma every time the drawers are opened

Ryan Messier is a professionally trained furniture and cabinetmaker holding a degree from the North Bennet Street School. My specialty is the design and construction of hardwood furniture using traditional techniques.
Along with traditional furniture making I also offer many other services, including custom cabinets, antique restoration, chairmaking, wood carving, veneering, built in cabinetry, millwork and finishing/refinishing.
My two thousand square foot shop is located just over the Bourne bridge on beautiful Cape Cod.
