Large Single Slab Redwood Table With Quilted Maple Benches
This was a customer project for the former home of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. This is a large single slab redwood table top paired with 3"X1" polished steel picnic table style "X" shaped legs. Two quilted maple benches with 2"X1" were made to compliment the dinning set.

In 2012 the Timber Library was founded to be different then the mainstream and produce hand crafted, quality, unique pieces of furniture from time-tested joinery methods that are built with the philosophy of "quality over quantity".
Every piece is designed with a specific clients needs and made by hand with the highest grade of solid materials and on a individual client by client basis. Handmade furniture is a time consuming labor of love and does not happen over night. My goal as a furniture maker is to make a beautiful, functional and aesthetically pleasing piece that will last long enough to pass along to future generations. Since this creative process takes more time then going to your local furniture store and choosing something off the showroom floor, timelines are quoted each commission at a time. If you desire a more accurate estimate, I would recommend providing comprehensive drawings with dimensions and part listings.
