A single drawer from a large antique typesetter's case forms the basis of this coffee table. 17" x 32" and 15" tall. The drawer is covered with a 3/16" piece of plate glass, and set into a welded iron frame. Items can be displayed beneath the glass in the small units…which in a pre-digital age held the metal letters of typesetters and printers.
Catapult Woodworks
I am a woodworker. I have a small shop making furniture in a casual style. Much of it has a natural, unfinished look (although it's actually coated for protection). A lot of use of metal brackets and exposed screws. An architect friend calls it a packing-crate aesthetic.
