Murphy Bed
This room is used as an exercise room. A sleeper couch would have taken up too much room..There was a natural alcove in the wall to fit a queen size bed. I used Birch plywood with edgebanding. The two blocks you see on the face are the legs. They also release the bed to lower it. Another type does not have these on the face as a tubular leg folds out as the bed is lowered. This unit can be dressed up to look like a stack of cabinets..of course for a cost increase…thanks…Harry
