Beeswax is the longest and cleanest burning of any wax. The American Lung Association even recommends beeswax candles to clean the air and help with removing allergens! This wax is from a small honey farm down the road from my home. Healthy bees make beautiful wax. These eggs are really beautiful in person. A symbol of life and fertility. These eggs are 2 1/2" diameter and 3 3/4" tall. This candle burns very well, and should last up to 40 hours. Beeswax candles are a natural and sustainable alternative to the common paraffin (made from petroleum) variety…it will give off a warmer glow, burn longer, and clean the air. Each candle is hand poured, one at a time. 100% cotton, lead free wick. I can pour more for you…just contact me. ** These candles retail for $15-$20 each at stores, so this set of 3 is a great price. Would be great to give as gifts. About beeswax candles: Beeswax produces a negative ion when burning. Burning beeswax candles removes dust, household odors, pollen, viruses, toxins – as well as mold and mildew – from the air. Color: Some color variations are inevitable due to the length of time wax has remained in the hive, the pollen source, and the type of honey made in the hive. This makes each candle unique. You may see some propolis or pollen in the wax, which lets you know it's minimally filtered and pure. Beeswax Burning Tips: Beeswax candles are naturally dripless and smokeless; so burn time is longer. It's best not to burn any candle for more than 4 hours at a time, because the candle may get too soft. Trim the wick back to 1/4" each time before relighting the candle. Always keep candles away from children and animals, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Thanks to the bees!

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.
I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.
My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
