Beeswax is the longest and cleanest burning of any wax. This wax came from a local beekeeper down the road from my house. I love this mold because it really creates a beautifully shaped candle with lots of detail. The tiny bees on the side are really cute. Each candle is hand poured, one at a time. The hives, or skeps are 2" diameter and about 3" tall (wick included) 100% cotton wick. Beeswax produces a negative ion when burning. Burning beeswax candles removes dust, household odors, pollen, viruses, toxins – as well as mold and mildew – from the air. Color: Some color variations are inevitable due to the length of time wax has remained in the hive, the pollen source, and the type of honey made in the hive. This makes each candle unique. Beeswax Burning Tips: Beeswax candles are naturally dripless and smokeless; so burn time is longer. It's best not to burn any candle for more than 4 hours at a time, because the candle may get too soft. Trim the wick back to 1/4" each time before relighting the candle. Always keep candles away from pets and animals, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.

I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.

My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
