Dakota -- Rag Doll With Upcycled Upholstery Dress

$45

Dakota is a rag doll who loves sunlight. Her favorite place to be is the beach. She's always wearing a dress I made for her, a wraparound made from vintage leather mixed with floral upcycled upholstery fabric. I made her from high quality materials that are simple, yet easy to maintain. My dolls can last a lifetime, and may even be handed down. A lot of detail goes into my dolls. Faces are hand-painted, hair is hand-tied and applied by hand, and the dress the doll wears is hand-stitched from vintage green gingham cotton fabric. Each doll is guaranteed to be unique! Dakota stands about 15" tall, and her arms span a distance of 12". Her head is 2.5" in diameter, and her body is 3" wide in some areas. Her legs are about 7.5" long, and arms extend about 6.5". Please allow one week to make and ship your beautiful rag doll.

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.

I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.

My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
