Clementine -- The Mohair Vintage Bear

$65

This is Clementine, a carefully stitched and embroidered bear made from Steiff-Schulte mohair and stuffed with eco-poly fibers and fabric scrap. With eyes that are light blue, ears that are lined with Liberty of London cotton lawn fabric, and a fully jointed body, Clementine is a perfect heirloom toy that can last for generations. She comes with an organic leather riveted tag (hand stamped with the "Arden and James" logo), an organic leather collar with rivet, and an option to customize her leather collar with any name/text that you want for an additional $5. Clementine is a great teacher and lovely companion. She loves to dance in her little pink hand-tied tutu. She's usually only about 10" tall, but she also is available in larger sizes and in a variety of colors, just let me know. Please allow a two week lead time (should be less) to make and ship your very own Clementine.

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.

I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.

My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
