Custom Portrait Or Childrens Portrait Painting On Canvas
Imagine your child's' personality captured in a custom portrait on 11 " x 14" canvas! Working from your ideas and favorite snapshots or photos, I'll create a very lifelike and detailed portrait! I use a mixed media approach for my paintings on stretched canvas which combines the best aspects of traditional painting (oil and acrylics) with digital painting to achieve an elegant portrait painting with a very realistic likeness! I spend hours and hours painting with traditional paintbrushes and digital brushes on each portrait, working through several different stages to showcase all the precious details of your child! You will actually become part of the creative process, since you'll be weighing in on the details at various stages in the development of the portrait. I'll send you composition sketches and images of the work in progress to make sure important details like eye color, hair color, etc. are perfect! By working together we'll create a great portrait! I'm a professional artist specializing in fine art paintings, pet portraits and illustration. I have a fine arts degree with a major in graphic design. I've had over thirty-five years experience in creating custom artwork and design. I create artwork using a wide range of media: traditional watercolor, acrylic, oils, and pen and ink as well as modern hand-painted digital paintings on canvas and archival paper. I use only the highest quality archival materials in creating my work.

For Inquiry about a custom pet painting5.0MJ was such a joy to work with! I had a pretty unique custom pet art project that I wasn't quite sure how to make it into reality, when I found MJ and shared the idea with her, she immediately started providing many ideas, examples and mockups to help me visualize it. She had many choices of the medium too, and we picked a beautiful wood cut out format in the end that I'd never have imagined to begin with! The creation process was smooth and full of fun, not being an artistic person myself, I asked for her expert opinions on many of my thoughts and she's given me such great advice, that the final art piece turned out stunning :) I already have another project in mind that I'd love to work with her on, I'll definitely be coming back to MJ in the near future!
